Information we collect

• Account information you provide — name, email, organization, and role.
• Content you create in the app — work orders, assets, parts, requests, comments, and attachments.
• Usage and device data — pages viewed, actions taken, IP address, and browser type, used to run and improve the service.
• Cookies — used to keep you signed in and remember preferences. You can control cookies in your browser.

How we use information

• To provide, secure, and improve the service.
• To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support.
• To detect, prevent, and address abuse or technical issues.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We share data only with vendors that help us run WorkUp, under agreements that require them to protect it. These include our hosting and database provider (Supabase), our application host (Vercel), our email provider (Resend), and our AI provider (Anthropic) for optional AI features. AI providers do not train their models on your data.

Data retention & security

We keep your data for as long as your account is active, and delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period after you close your account. Your organization’s data is isolated from other organizations at the database level. We use encryption in transit and industry-standard safeguards, though no method is perfectly secure.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your information — from the app or by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as GDPR or CCPA.

Children

WorkUp is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy; we’ll change the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email.
